Sonictracs provides a catalogue of music specifically composed for use in media productions such as film, TV, advertising, radio, games, podcasts and digital content.
Our music is composed with the user in mind and is consistent with the current trends across the entertainment industry.
There are two ways in which you can find the perfect song for your project.
The most precise way to find a track is by going to Search Music and utilising the wide range of filters to find what you’re looking for. This includes genre, mood, attributes, instruments and recommended use.
Alongside the filters, each track has a detailed description and tells you which album its from which helps to provide further context.
The second method is to go to our Albums page and find the album you’re looking for. Our album titles get straight to the point, for example Action, Drama, Uplifting, allowing you to easily find what the genre you’re looking for.
If something looks good in writing, you can then click play and listen to any song all the way through.
Alongside full versions, in most cases there are also 30s/60s cuts and alternative versions that provide a different take on a track. These can be found by clicking the track title on any page or using the View Alternative Mixes button at the bottom of each album page.
Sonictracs is represented by PRS and MCPS who issue licences on our behalf.
Our music is cleared for all media projects worldwide, but a valid licence must be obtained from MCPS or through the local agent who represents our catalogue in your territory.
To download a track for use in your production, you must first create an account that will need to be approved by a member of a team.
